It can only be used when the card it's printed on is in your graveyard, and as an additional cost to use the renew ability, you must exile the card from your graveyard

You wont always be able to make great use of the reanimate ability, as the creature you bring back wont be able to attack without haste, but youll get to use any ETB or death triggers
